I’m a hair stylist at JCPenny and our whole salon uses the Chi iron. The best thing about is that it ceramic all the way through; the heat and the plate it self. I’ve been having mine for three years and have had no problems. You can imagine how I use it on all of my clients with different texture hair. One problem that I have found is it can burn your hair out if it’s thin, already straight, in your front hair line. The key to not burning your hair out is to use larger sections to prevent the hair from scorching. I recommend if you have any of these problems to buy one of the Chi flat iron that has a temperature setting. All use some kind of thermal protector like the silk infusion, thermal protecting spray, or any other product that states it is a thermal protector this means any kind of heat like blow drying.

I ordered this flat iron a few months ago, and after using other kinds of flat irons i was thinking it was my hair that was just frizzy and would always be that way… until i tried this iron.. then i fell in love with it.. i can flat iron my hair in minutes, and each section only has to pass through the iron ONCE!! and is perfectly pin straight and silky smooth..
